Formed for, and by, the voluntary and community sector, NYLC was established in 2007 to help organisations develop their learning and skills activities to benefit their clients, staff and volunteers.

NYLC exists to aid partnership working between organisations to improve the provision, success and quality of learning opportunities throughout North Yorkshire.

Provides a strategic voice for the voluntary and community sector around learning provision

Promotes, facilitates and develops learning and skills activities within and through the sector

Champions workforce development within the sector
